Following the footsteps of the bear…

For many years, I have been passionate about antique bears. Few kept their originality and others needed some tender love and care, in need for restoration. In the course of time, the dream of making a hand made bear in the traditional way became a reality.

The making of my childhood bear…

Mag Bears are fabricated in the same manner as bears from 1905. They are made from good quality mohair and occasionally from alpaca wool. They are entirely filled with wooden straw. They have glass eyes and five joints (head, arms and legs). The footpad is made out of cashmere, fine felt fabric or Mohair. The manufacture of a bear requires fifteen hours.

A Unique gift…

Each of my bears in mohair or alpaca is unique, it has the brand and a certificate of authenticity. These are collectible bears that are not suitable for children under 14 years. "Mag Bears" is a registered trademark.
